If I Need a Spreadsheet to Understand Your Software Pricing, Something Has Gone Wrong

I was looking recently at an app in the accounting ecosystem that I thought could be a useful addition to our app stack at CASS, specifically to support some of our clients in a particular sector. It’s currently a featured app on the Xero App Store, and from what I could see, it looked like it could solve a genuine problem for those clients. So I wanted to understand how it worked, how we could support clients using it and, importantly, what it would actually cost them. Then I tried to work out the pricing. I don't mean I looked at the price and thought it was expensive. I mean I couldn't actually arrive at a price.
