Yes, and without waiting for a callback. The package builder asks a handful of questions about your business; turnover, how many transactions, whether you are VAT registered, whether there is payroll and gives you a monthly price for that combination on the spot. You can change the mix and watch the price move. If your situation is unusual, tell us and we will say so rather than quietly loading the price.

Yes. In-person meetings can be arranged where appropriate, alongside telephone and online meetings.

Yes. We will review which returns are outstanding, gather the information and agree a practical plan to bring everything up to date.

Yes. Growth often uses cash before it creates cash. We can examine working capital, margins, payment terms and funding needs to identify what is causing the pressure.

A limited company should use a separate company bank account. It is also strongly recommended for sole traders because it makes records clearer and easier to manage.

No. We look after personal tax clients across Tamworth, Cannock, Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham and further afield. Everything can be handled by email, phone or video, and you're welcome at the office in Amington if you'd rather do it face to face.

You will receive letter of engagement setting out the services we will provide, your responsibilities and the terms of working together. This is usually covers a 12 month period, but you’re free to leave us with 30 days notice.

You can tell them yourself, or we can make the formal professional approach once you have appointed us.

Quarterly updates are based on the digital records for the period and do not generally require every year-end accounting adjustment at that stage. We will make sure the required information is submitted correctly.

No. We are not registered auditors, so we do not carry out statutory audits, in Scotland or anywhere else. If you need an audit, you need a registered audit firm, and we would rather tell you that now than after a meeting. What we can do is the bookkeeping, management accounts and year-end preparation that sits underneath an audit, so whoever does audit you has clean records to work from.

Yes — a one-off New Client Onboarding Fee, which covers identification, anti-money-laundering checks and the work to set the relationship up properly. It isn't hidden until later: when you build your package on our pricing page, the exact amount is shown alongside your monthly fee before you give us anything.

Not as things stand. Crypto reporting for a partnership or LLP means reconstructing trades across exchanges and wallets and taking a position on how each one is taxed, and that is specialist work we do not currently take on. If crypto is a small part of an otherwise ordinary business we are happy to talk it through and work alongside a specialist; if it is the business, you want somebody who does only that.

No. EMI valuations and scheme agreements are specialist work. The valuation has to be agreed with HMRC and the paperwork has to be right first time and it is not something we take on. It is a specialist's job and we would point you to one rather than learn on your scheme. We can keep the company's accounts, payroll and reporting straight around it, including the payroll side once options are exercised.

Yes. Our initial conversation is free and carries no obligation. It is simply an opportunity to understand your business and see whether we are the right fit.

Yes. The vast majority of our services are provided for a fixed monthly fee, so you have complete clarity over what you'll pay each month with no unexpected invoices. You don't have to ask us what that fee is either — build your package on our pricing page and you'll see it straight away, along with any one-off costs.

Yes. Quarterly reviews can be included to discuss performance, priorities, risks and actions for the next period.

No. Although we are based in Tamworth, our cloud-based way of working means we can support clients throughout the UK.

Yes. You can build your own package on our pricing page and see the exact monthly fee and any one-off costs in about two minutes — no email address, and nobody to speak to first. The figure is built from your own numbers: how many invoices you raise, how many bank accounts need reconciling, how many people you pay and which services you want.

We avoid unnecessary jargon and explain things in plain English. Our job is to make your finances easier to understand, not more complicated.

Yes. Consultancies and contractors are a good fit for how we work: the numbers are usually clean, the questions are about drawing money out sensibly, keeping the tax predictable and knowing what the company can afford. We run the bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and year-end in Xero, and the conversation is about what the figures mean rather than what they were.

Yes. We support growing businesses with scalable bookkeeping, payroll, reporting, forecasting and advice to help them stay in control as they expand.

Yes. We can help new businesses choose the right structure, set up Xero, understand their responsibilities and put good financial processes in place from the beginning.

No. We can explain accounting and tax implications, but legal matters should be handled by a suitably qualified solicitor.

We do not provide regulated investment advice. Where needed, we can work alongside an authorised financial adviser.

CASS was founded in 2017 and has grown by building long-term relationships with businesses that value practical advice and reliable support.

That depends on the services you choose. Some clients speak to us regularly throughout the month, while others have scheduled monthly or quarterly reviews.

We work with small and medium-sized businesses across a wide range of sectors, including trades, retail, care, creative businesses, professional services, social enterprises and conveyancing firms.

You can change at any time. The best timing depends on deadlines, work already completed and the state of your records.

Ideally, before you begin trading or make major commitments. Early advice can prevent avoidable tax, structure and record-keeping problems.
