Pricing, out in the open

Build your CASS package

Pick the services you need, tell us about your business, and see an indicative monthly price — before you give us a name, an email or anything else. Same questions we'd ask on a call, same pricing our team uses internally.

What's in a package

What a CASS package covers

Everything below is built from the same list the builder offers, so you can see what you're choosing between before you start.

Bookkeeping that keeps up

Sales and purchase processing, bank and clearing reconciliations, receipt capture and month-end accruals — priced on the volume you actually have, not a guess at your size.

Compliance, handled

VAT returns, year-end accounts, confirmation statements and personal tax. The deadlines stop being your problem and start being ours.

Payroll and pensions

Weekly, fortnightly or monthly payroll, variable hours, departmental analysis, auto-enrolment and BACS payments.

Software that fits

Xero, receipt capture, Dext Commerce, ApprovalMax, Tripcatcher and CIS — as a Xero Platinum Partner we set it up properly and support it afterwards.

Getting straight

Behind on your bookkeeping, or inheriting a set of books that don't add up? Catch-up and correction work is priced separately and honestly, so it never hides inside a monthly fee.

Someone to ask

Software support and strategic reviews, so there's a person to ring when something matters — not a ticket number.

How we price

Priced on the work, not on your postcode

Most accountants price on a feel for the size of your business. We price on the work in front of us — the number of invoices, the number of bank lines, the number of people on the payroll, whether the books arrive in order or need putting right first. Two businesses with the same turnover can be very different amounts of work, and it isn't fair for one to subsidise the other.

That's why the builder asks what it asks. Every question maps to something that genuinely changes the cost of doing the job properly, and every answer feeds the same pricing engine our own team uses when they put a proposal together. There is no marketing price and no real price.

Recurring work is quoted monthly, so your fee spreads across the year rather than landing in one lump after your year-end. Work with a beginning and an end — getting behind books straight, migrating payroll, a VAT registration — is quoted as a one-off, separately and visibly, so it can never quietly inflate an ongoing fee.

This is an indicative price based on what you've told us. We'll confirm it on a short Discovery Call once we understand your business properly.

The next step

What happens on a Discovery Call

01

We listen first

Thirty minutes, usually with Paul. What the business does, what's working, what's keeping you up at night.

02

We confirm the figure

We go through the package you built, ask the handful of things a form can't, and confirm or adjust the fee in front of you.

03

You decide, later

A written proposal follows. No pressure on the call, and if we're not the right firm for you we'll tell you who might be.

Questions

Building your package — the questions we get asked

How does the package builder work out a price?
It asks the same scope questions we'd ask on a call — how many invoices you raise, how many bank accounts need reconciling, how many people you pay — and prices them using exactly the same pricing engine our team uses internally. There is no separate 'website price list', which is why the figure you see is one we recognise.
Is the price I see the price I'll pay?
This is an indicative price based on what you've told us. We'll confirm it on a short Discovery Call once we understand your business properly. In practice it changes when something turns up that the questions couldn't have known about — a group structure, work needed to get the books straight, or a service you didn't realise you needed.
Are the prices shown including VAT?
No. Every figure in the builder is shown net, with VAT stated separately, because most of our clients are VAT registered and reclaim it. VAT is charged at the standard rate on top.
Why do some answers mean no price is shown?
Some businesses genuinely can't be priced sensibly from a form — groups of companies, overseas or multi-currency trading, years of catch-up work, or specialist reporting. Rather than give you a confident number that later needs correcting, we say so and offer a conversation instead. Everything you've entered comes with us to that call.
What happens on a Discovery Call?
It's about 30 minutes, usually with Paul. We go through what you've built, ask the few things a form can't, confirm the fee and tell you honestly whether we're the right fit. There's no charge and no obligation, and if we're not right for you we'll say so.
Do I have to give my details to see a price?
No. The price appears before we ask for anything about you. If you'd rather look, think and come back later, the builder remembers where you got to on your own device.
Can I change accountant part-way through a year?
Yes, and most people do. We handle the professional clearance and the handover, and where your year-end sits awkwardly we can align the fee so you're not paying twice for the same period. See our guide to switching accountants for how it works in practice.

Absolutely fantastic service from the team at CASS, (especially Paul). Not only did they support us with our book-keeping/accounting and EPOS system, but they genuinely went above and beyond — even helping us out of hours and on a Sunday to get everything set up properly. Nothing was too much trouble, and their support has been a massive part of getting our pet shop up and running smoothly from day one. We couldn’t be happier with the service we’ve received and honestly couldn’t have done it without them. Thanks again Paul and the team at CASS — truly appreciated! X

Since starting our new business in 2026, Cloud Accounting Support Services has been fantastic. They have made everything so much easier to manage, and their support has always been there whenever we’ve needed help. We couldn’t have asked for a better accounting partner.

Paul, Ali and the team are simply amazing. Every time I ask for help, someone comes back to me straight away, and I always feel supported. They take the stress out of accounts, explain things in a way I understand, and genuinely care about helping me get it right. Having an accountant like Paul gives me complete peace of mind, and that’s priceless when you’re running a business and wearing lots of hats.

Rather just talk to someone?

The builder is there if you want a number before a conversation. If you'd rather start with the conversation, that's completely fine — tell us about your business and we'll price it by hand.
